Higgsfield is a web platform that bundles the leading AI video models (Kling, Veo, Seedance, Wan, MiniMax Hailuo, Gemini Omni Flash and more) under one subscription, along with its own tools for directing shots: preset camera moves, Cinema Studio and an ad generator. It’s aimed mainly at short-form creators and marketing teams who want to compare several models without juggling accounts. Paid plans start at $19 a month for 270 credits, before tax (pricing page, checked Sept. 26, 2026).

This overview is based on Higgsfield’s official pages (pricing, help center, blog, changelog, terms of use) and business press coverage, all checked on September 26, 2026. As of that date, links from this page to higgsfield.ai are direct, not affiliate links.

What Does Higgsfield Do?

Higgsfield was founded in 2023 by Alex Mashrabov, a former Snap executive. In August 2026 it raised $400 million at a $5.4 billion valuation and claimed 30 million users and $700 million in annualized revenue (TechCrunch, Aug. 17, 2026).

Its help center describes Higgsfield as an “AI-native creative suite” that combines in-house tools with other companies’ models under one subscription (What is Higgsfield?, checked Sept. 26, 2026). The main tools:

  • Video generator: pick a model (Kling, Veo, Seedance…), write a prompt or start from an image, and the credit cost shows up before you hit generate.
  • Camera presets: 50+ preset moves (dolly in, crane up, bullet time, handheld, 3D rotation…) you apply without describing them in the prompt (Camera Controls). This is what put Higgsfield on the map at launch in spring 2025, along with its in-house DoP model (Forbes).
  • Cinema Studio 4.0 (Aug. 12, 2026): a directing workspace running on Seedance 2.5, where you choose the camera body (35mm film, 8mm, DV camcorder), lens, aperture and moves such as Robot Arm or Helicopter Shot; clips run up to 30 seconds with up to 50 references (Cinema Studio help).
  • Marketing Studio: turns a product page URL into video ads (UGC, unboxing, tutorial formats).
  • Genjutsu (September 2026): edits existing footage from 4 to 30 seconds long, either by transferring its motion to a new scene or by swapping an object or character, at up to 1080p (Higgsfield blog).
  • Soul and Soul ID: the in-house image model, which keeps the same face across generations.
  • Supercomputer and Canvas: an agent that plans and generates batches of assets from a brief, and a node-based canvas for chaining models.
  • MCP and API: Higgsfield connects to Claude or ChatGPT over MCP, and since Sept. 16, 2026 it has offered a pay-per-generation API (changelog).

There is no mobile or desktop app: everything runs in the browser, and Higgsfield warns that any downloadable app using its name is unauthorized (official platforms).

Which Models Does Higgsfield Offer?

This list comes from the cost table on the pricing page, the model guide and the changelog (checked Sept. 26, 2026):

Seedance 2.5 Draft regional availability. Draft mode previews a take at 480p before generating the selected result at 1080p. The September 22 entry in the changelog says this model is unavailable in the US on the provider’s side (checked Sept. 28, 2026). A model shown in a screenshot may therefore be unavailable in your region.

For images, Higgsfield offers Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2 (Google), GPT Image, Seedream 5.0, FLUX.2, Recraft V4 and its own Soul 2.0, among others. For audio: Seed Audio, ElevenLabs and MiniMax Speech.

Three things to keep in mind:

  • Sora 2 is still in the cost table, even though OpenAI shut down the Sora app on April 26, 2026 and its API on Sept. 24, 2026 (OpenAI help). Don’t count on it.
  • New models don’t reach everyone at once: the pricing page says access may roll out gradually.
  • None of Higgsfield’s own video models shows up in the public leaderboards. The top-ranked models in September 2026 (Gemini Omni Flash, Wan 3.0, MiniMax H3, Seedance 2.0) come from Google, Alibaba, MiniMax and ByteDance, and Higgsfield resells them. The top 10 AI video tools covers those rankings in detail.

How Much Does Higgsfield Cost in 2026?

Prices below exclude sales tax, which the pricing page says is calculated at checkout (Higgsfield pricing, checked Sept. 26, 2026).

PlanMonthlyBilled annually (per month)Credits per monthKey points
Free$0–0Small set of models, watermark, one generation at a time
Starter$19$19 (no discount)270Selected models, including Seedance 2.0 Fast; none of the featured models is unlimited
Plus$59$471,200All models; Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana 2 unlimited for 7 days
Ultra$129$993,000 (6,000 and 9,000 tiers available)Adds Nano Banana Pro unlimited for 7 days
Team€79 per seat€65 per seat1,000 per seat, pooled2 to 9 members, shared workspace
Scale€215 per seat€150 per seat2,500 per seat5 to 15 members, basic SSO, unlimited models
EnterpriseCustomCustomCustomNo training on your data, indemnification, SLA

A few caveats on those figures. The Starter and Plus dollar prices appeared on the pricing page. The Ultra dollar price comes from a Higgsfield blog post dated Sept. 11, 2026, and matches the euro figures shown on the page (€129, or €99 billed annually). Team and Scale were only shown in euros when checked from France, so their dollar prices couldn’t be verified. There’s also a one-time $3 pass: 40 credits and two days of unlimited Soul 2.0.

Higgsfield contradicts itself on pricing. The “Annual” toggle promises 30% off, but the plan cards show 20% (Plus), 23% (Ultra) and no discount at all on Starter. The same Sept. 11 blog post still lists Starter at $15 and Plus at $49 a month. Rotating discount banners change what you see, too: only the amount shown at checkout counts.

How Do Credits Work?

From the pricing page FAQ and the credits help article (checked Sept. 26, 2026):

  • Each generation costs credits based on the model, duration and resolution; the cost is shown on the Generate button before you confirm.
  • Subscription credits don’t roll over: they expire at the end of each cycle. Extra credit packs expire 90 days after purchase.
  • Failed generations are usually refunded in credits automatically, though some models are excluded.
  • Credits get cheaper on bigger plans: 15 credits per dollar on Starter, 26 on Plus, 31 on Ultra and 33 on Team, according to the pricing page.

How Many Videos Do 1,200 or 3,000 Credits Buy?

Calculated from Higgsfield’s published costs (the pricing page cost table, plus blog posts for Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3; checked Sept. 26, 2026), rounded down, excluding unlimited generations:

Model and settingCredits per clipPlus (1,200)Ultra (3,000)
Kling 3.0, 720p, 5 s~7≈ 171≈ 428
Wan 3.0, 1080p, 5 s17.5≈ 68≈ 171
MiniMax H3, 5 s2060150
Seedance 2.0, 720p, 5 s~22≈ 54≈ 136
Veo 3.1, 720p, 4 s~403075
Seedance 2.0, 1080p, 5 s~45≈ 26≈ 66
Seedance 2.5, 1080p, 10 s1201025

The plan cards on the pricing page claim roughly 15 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos on Starter, 53 Seedance 2.0 videos on Plus and 133 on Ultra. Higgsfield’s own numbers don’t always agree: the same page puts an 8-second 720p Kling 3.0 clip at about 14 credits, more than its cost table’s 7 credits per 5 seconds would suggest. Either way, the model you pick matters far more than the plan: 1,200 credits buy about ten 1080p Seedance 2.5 clips, or more than 150 Kling 3.0 clips at 720p.

What Does “Unlimited” Mean on Higgsfield?

Plus, Ultra and the team plans include credit-free generations on certain models for a set period: 7 days for Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana 2 on Plus, for example, while other models, mostly image ones, are covered for 365 days (Unlimited help article, checked Sept. 26, 2026). The conditions:

  • Standard queue: speed varies at peak hours; credit-based generations go through the priority queue.
  • On higgsfield.ai only: through MCP, the CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer, everything costs credits.
  • Active subscription required: access ends when you cancel or downgrade, even if the period hasn’t run out.
  • Personal, human use: automation, account sharing and resale are banned, and access can be paused for review.

This “unlimited” access has drawn many complaints, including waits of several hours for a single video and annual offers that buyers felt were misleading (WION, Aug. 18, 2026). Higgsfield says it refunded $1.35 million to users hit by slowdowns and shut down 40,000 bot accounts (Forbes, February 2026). Treat it as a bonus, not as the basis for your budget.

Is Higgsfield Free?

Yes, but barely. Without a subscription you can generate on a small set of models, with no credits included, a visible watermark on everything and one generation at a time (how plans work, watermark help, checked Sept. 26, 2026). There’s no free trial of the paid plans.

To try the flagship models (Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0), you need at least Starter, and realistically Plus, since Starter only unlocks selected models. If you change your mind, you can request a refund within 7 days of your first purchase as long as you haven’t used any credits, minus a fee of up to 6%; renewals aren’t refundable (terms of use).

Higgsfield vs. Using Kling, Veo or Hailuo Directly

Higgsfield sells access to other companies’ models, and nearly all of them have their own apps. Entry prices on the official sites, checked Sept. 25, 2026: Google AI Plus at $4.99/month, with Gemini Omni Flash and Veo in Gemini and Flow (Google AI plans); Kling Standard at $8.80/month; Hailuo Standard at $10.50/month (promotional price); Wan Pro at $6.50/month.

The aggregator makes sense if:

  • you want to compare several models on the same prompt before committing, without paying for four subscriptions;
  • you’ll use the camera presets, Cinema Studio or Marketing Studio, which the model makers don’t offer;
  • you work as a team with a shared workspace and credit pool, or want to drive generation from Claude or ChatGPT over MCP.

The official tool is the better choice if:

  • you only need one model: Google Flow gives 50 free credits a day, and Wan and Kling have cheaper entry plans than Starter;
  • you want every new feature the day it ships: on Higgsfield, new models and features may roll out gradually;
  • privacy matters to you: Higgsfield trains on your content by default (see below);
  • you want a clear, stable price without time-limited “unlimited” windows to keep track of.

Higgsfield isn’t the only reseller: Runway, Luma, PixVerse and LTX Studio also offer Kling, Seedance or Wan alongside their own models. And for an avatar that presents to camera from a script, a dedicated tool like HeyGen is more direct.

Can You Use Higgsfield Videos Commercially?

Yes. Under Section 4.4 of the terms of use (updated July 26, 2026), Higgsfield doesn’t claim ownership of your inputs or outputs and doesn’t restrict commercial use of what you generate. The help center adds that these rights apply on every plan, including the free one, survive cancellation and can be transferred to a client (Who owns my generations?, checked Sept. 26, 2026).

Another contradiction: the comparison table on the pricing page marks “Commercial use” as not included on the free plan. For client work, use a paid plan, which also removes the watermark.

Two caveats:

  • Outputs aren’t exclusive: other users may get identical or similar results.
  • Copyright is on you: it’s up to you to make sure your videos don’t use a character, brand or someone’s likeness without permission. Higgsfield blocks some generations on those grounds.

What Happens to Your Data?

  • Training: the terms let Higgsfield use your content, prompts and outputs to train its models. Only Enterprise customers are excluded; on the pricing page, “No training on your data” is checked for Enterprise and crossed out for Team and Scale. The only way to opt out is to delete your content or account, and anything already used for training isn’t removed.
  • Where data lives: Higgsfield Inc. is a California company, and data is processed in the U.S. (privacy policy, updated July 26, 2026).
  • Public content: Higgsfield may use outputs you make public on the platform in its marketing, but not private content without your consent.
  • Age and disputes: 18+; California law and binding arbitration, with a 30-day window to opt out of arbitration.

So keep client photos, confidential product shots and the faces of people who haven’t agreed to it out of your uploads.

What Are Higgsfield’s Limitations?

  • Pre-tax prices that keep shifting. Temporary discounts, banners and conflicting figures between the pricing page and the blog: the real price is the one at checkout.
  • Credits that expire. Nothing rolls over, and a single 1080p Seedance 2.5 clip uses 10% of Plus’s monthly credits.
  • Conditional “unlimited”, slow-queued and time-limited, and the source of many complaints.
  • One more middleman. New models and settings arrive gradually, and a model can stay listed after it’s shut down, as Sora 2 shows.
  • A damaged reputation in 2026. In February 2026, Forbes reported stock footage presented as AI-generated in a campaign, late payouts in the creator program and the suspension of Higgsfield’s X account for “inauthentic behavior”; the CEO acknowledged mistakes (Forbes).
  • No mobile app, and the help center is in English only.
  • Responsible use. Using someone’s face or voice requires their consent, and several jurisdictions, including the EU under the AI Act (Article 50), require deepfakes to be disclosed.

FAQ

How much does Higgsfield cost per month?

$19 for Starter, $59 for Plus ($47/month billed annually) and $129 for Ultra ($99/month billed annually), before sales tax (pricing, checked Sept. 26, 2026). Team plans start at €79 per seat as shown from Europe.

Is Higgsfield free?

There’s a permanent free plan, but it includes no credits, covers only a few models and adds a watermark. The most popular models (Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Seedance) require a subscription.

Which video models are on Higgsfield?

Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Gemini Omni Flash, Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, Wan 3.0, MiniMax H3, Grok Imagine and the in-house DoP and Genjutsu, among others. Sora 2 is still listed even though OpenAI has shut it down.

Is Higgsfield’s unlimited plan really unlimited?

Not strictly. It covers a handful of models for a set period (7 days for Kling 3.0 on Plus), runs in a slower queue, works on the website only and ends with your subscription.

Does Higgsfield have a mobile app?

No. Higgsfield only runs in the browser, including on phones; apps using its name aren’t official.

Higgsfield or Runway?

Both resell Kling, Seedance or Wan alongside their own tools. Higgsfield offers more models plus directing and ad tools; Runway focuses on editing existing footage (Aleph 2.0), HDR and plugins for Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.

The verdict

A convenient way to compare Kling, Veo, Seedance, Wan or MiniMax on one subscription, with in-house directing tools; but credits, conditional "unlimited" access and training on your content mean the fine print matters.
