Génie Artificiel is an independent guide to artificial intelligence tools. Tool reviews, step-by-step tutorials and guides: we explain what each tool does, who it is for, what it costs, and how to actually put it to work, without the jargon.

Who we are

Génie Artificiel is an independent website, published in French and English by Nael Al Khalaf (see the legal notice). It is not owned by any software vendor or media group.

The site is for anyone who wants to make the most of AI without being an expert: content creators, freelancers, employees, students or simply curious minds.

Our mission

To make artificial intelligence accessible to everyone. AI can simplify everyday tasks, save time and spark creativity, as long as you know which tool to pick and how to use it. Our goal: help you master these tools so you can create, work and learn better.

Four principles guide our content:

  • Accessibility: explain things simply, whatever your level.
  • Education: detailed tutorials and ready-to-copy prompts to put things into practice.
  • Curiosity: follow what is new and spot the uses that genuinely make everyday life easier.
  • Dialogue: your questions and feedback help us improve every page.

Our method

How we choose tools

We pick a tool for its practical value: what it lets you do, who it serves, how widely it is used, what our readers ask about and whether serious alternatives exist. Having an affiliate program is never a criterion: many of the tools covered on the site do not offer one.

No vendor reviews or approves our content before it is published.

How we analyze them

Every page starts from official sources: vendor documentation, pricing pages, release notes, terms of use and help centers. We cross-check them with public leaderboards and well-known comparisons when they exist, and we point out contradictions between a vendor’s own pages instead of picking a number at random. Every price, quota or feature links to its source and carries the date we checked it. When we give our take, it is an editorial recommendation based on that evidence: who the tool suits, its limits and its alternatives. When a result comes from a trial we ran ourselves, we say so and show it.

Dated, updated pages

AI tools move fast: prices, features and even names sometimes change from one month to the next. Every review, tutorial and guide shows its publication date and, where relevant, the date of its last significant update. With each update, we check the key information (prices, plans, features) again on the official websites.

How we use AI

We use AI tools ourselves, for example for research, drafting assistance, rephrasing or translating between French and English. But no text is published without human review: every piece is checked, edited and approved by a person, and the site’s publisher takes editorial responsibility for it.

We say so for the sake of transparency, as Google recommends for content created with the help of AI. It is also the framework set by Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act: AI-generated text published to inform the public must be disclosed as such, unless it has undergone human review and a person holds editorial responsibility for it.

Some links to tools are affiliate links. If you subscribe to a service after clicking one of them, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. These links are always marked with the words “Affiliate link”.

These commissions fund the site, but they never influence our verdict: we describe the limits of partner tools just like those of any other, and we recommend a non-affiliate alternative when it suits you better. This is what keeps Génie Artificiel free and independent.
